Definitions and interpretations
The terms used in the present document and marked with a capital letter without prior definition mean the following:
"Client" means a physical person over 18 years old, acting for his or her own personal needs and having full legal capacity to commit himself or herself under the terms of this agreement.
"Hotel" refers to the hotel AZ’ Hôtel Spa Urbain, operated by SASU HOTEL17 MILAN with a capital of €30,000, whose registered office is located at 3 place de la Trinité, 35000 Rennes, registered in the Rennes Trade and Companies Register under number 815 237 599.
Article 01. USE OF THE PREMISES
The physical coordinates of the Hotel are as follows :

The Hotel is free to refuse Clients dressed in an indecent or negligent manner, Clients whose behaviour is noisy or improper, Clients whose behaviour is against good morals and public order.
The Client agrees and undertakes to use the room with the care of a reasonable person. The Client shall respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their purpose.
The Client agrees and is required to wear proper attire when in the common areas of the hotel.
The Client accepts and agrees to return the accommodation in good condition. Any damage to the room, the hotel equipment or the common areas may result in penalties. Also, any behaviour against good morals and public order will lead the Hotel to require the Client to leave the hotel without any compensation and / or without any reimbursement if a payment has already been made. In the event that no payment has been made, the Client must pay the cost of the nights consumed before leaving the establishment."
Article 02. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
At the time of requesting a stay, the reservation is considered firm only after payment of a deposit or a guarantee by credit card. We accept payment by holiday vouchers (ANCV), bank card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express) and cash in €uros. We ask everyone staying at our establishment to show proof of identity for payment by holiday vouchers (ANCV). If you are unable to provide us with this document, we will be obliged to refuse your request for room hire.
The credit card used for a prepaid reservation must be presented on arrival at the hotel. In the event of no-show and without a pick-up form completed by the booker prior to the guest's arrival, the hotel will refund the debited credit card and a new payment will be made on site.
The hotel requires a deposit of €150 for one night and €300 for more than two nights, upon arrival at the hotel to cover any extras (bar drinks, room service) or damage. This deposit can be paid by credit card or cash and will be returned to the guest upon departure. The hotel has the right to refuse access to a guest who is not able to pay this guarantee."
Article 03. ARRIVAL
We ask all our clients to fill in a police form. The template is set by a joint order of the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Immigration and the Minister of Tourism: https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F33458
People who have booked via a travel agency must provide their printed or digital voucher on arrival.
The reservation must be in the name of the client. If the person making the reservation is not the guest staying at the hotel, we require proof of identity from the person making the reservation. Without proof, the guest may not be allowed access to the room.
Article 04. IN CASE OF INTERRUPTION OF THE STAY
No refunds will be made. Similarly, in the event of early departure, the stay is payable in full. Under no circumstances may early departures give rise to a refund. Any modification and/or cancellation of a stay must comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale for the tariff chosen at the time of booking.
No-shows are considered as the actual taking of the room, and will therefore be invoiced at 100%.
We offer cancellation insurance or advise you to take out insurance with your insurance company.
Article 05. ROOM ACCESS
Access to rooms is guaranteed from 3pm. Rooms must be vacated by 12.00 p.m. After this time, you will be charged an additional night at the current rate.
In addition, your room is intended for a specific number of people: in order to comply with the hotel's safety regulations, you must not, under any circumstances, accommodate extra people.
Babies and infants count as one person.
Article 06. PROHIBITIONS
We would like to remind you that smoking is prohibited in all non-smoking areas, with the exception of outdoor smoking areas where ashtrays are provided for this purpose. It is therefore absolutely forbidden to smoke or vapourise in the rooms for obvious reasons of safety and comfort. The customer will therefore be liable for the full cost of cleaning and restoring the damaged item or area to its original state. If electronic cigarette smoke or vapour is detected in the room, a penalty of 150 euros will be charged to the registered credit card.
It is forbidden to use gas or electric appliances in the rooms other than those provided (e.g. stoves, etc....).
Article 07. CLEANING
Le ménage des chambres d’hôtel est effectué quotidiennement entre 9h et 17h. Merci d’utiliser le panneau à double face sur la porte de votre chambre afin de signifier au personnel qu’il est possible de faire votre chambre. Les serviettes accrochées ne sont pas changées, si vous souhaitez faire remplacer votre linge de bain, déposez-le au sol ou dans la douche. Ces serviettes ne doivent pas être utilisées en dehors de la chambre.
En cas de souillures abusives, un montant supplémentaire peut vous être facturé. Le Client sera tenu responsable de l’intégralité des dommages directs et/ou indirects, consécutifs, dont il est l’auteur, constatés dans la chambre réservée ou qu’il pourrait causer au sein de l’Hôtel. En conséquence, il s’engage à indemniser l’Hôtel à hauteur du montant des desdits dommages, sans préjudice des dommages et intérêts qui pourraient être dus, frais de procédure et d’avocats engagés par l’Hôtel.
Article 08. PETS
Small pets (up to 15 kg) are accepted at a cost of €15 per night and per pet, subject to the following conditions: they must be kept on a lead in all communal areas of our establishment and must not be left alone in the room or any other part of the establishment. They are strictly forbidden in the swimming pool area. They are not allowed on armchairs, beds or other furniture. Owners are responsible for their pets.
They must relieve themselves naturally outside the establishment (including the patio).
Article 09. MINOR CHILDREN
Parents are responsible for their minor children. Minors are therefore under the responsibility of the Client, in the rooms and in the common areas.
The establishment does not accept reservations if all the occupants of the room are minors. No minor may occupy a room without the presence of an adult.
The hotel may request an ID card from minors accompanying adults for security purposes.
It is forbidden to run, roll (skates, scooters, bicycles, etc.) or shout in the establishment, day or night.
Article 10. BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:30 am from Monday to Friday and from 7:00 am to 11:30 am on Saturday and Sunday oin the lobby.
Room service is available on request, preferably the day before. The supplement for having breakfast in your room is €5 per person.
Article 11. THE BAR
The bar is open every day of the week and at any time of day. We do not serve alcohol to minors under the age of 18, and children may not order alcoholic drinks for their parents or accompanying adults. The cocktail bar is open from 4pm to midnight from Tuesday to Saturday. Room service is available from midday to midnight.
Article 12. COMPUTER RESOURCES
WIFI access (with or without a charge) enabling Customers to connect to the Internet may be available in accordance with the Hotel's current policy. The Customer undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available by the Hotel (2 fixed PCs made available to the Customer in the lobby) will not be used in any way for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available or communicating to the public works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software and video games, without the authorisation of the rights holders. Rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code where such authorisation is required. If the Customer does not comply with the aforementioned obligations, he or she may be charged with a copyright infringement offence (Article L.335-3 of the Intellectual Property Code), punishable by a penalty of 300,000 euros and three years imprisonment. The Customer is also required to comply with the security policy of the Hotel's Internet service provider, including the rules for using the security measures implemented to prevent the illicit use of computer resources, and to refrain from any act that would affect the effectiveness of these measures.
Article 13. RECEPTION
Reception accepts no responsibility for luggage or items left in public areas. Luggage storage is available at Reception. You will be given a receipt for each deposit, which you will collect when you collect your belongings. Reception is open 24 hours a day.
Lost and found items are deposited at Reception. After your departure, you can have your lost and found items sent to you after payment of the delivery charge.
Article 14. LE SPA & LA PISCINE
The swimming pool is open every day from 8am to 10pm and is reserved for hotel guests. Guests not staying at the hotel do not have access.
The SPA area may be closed for one hour during the day for servicing or maintenance. A sign will indicate to guests that the SPA is temporarily unavailable.
As swimming is unsupervised, you are responsible for your own safety. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is forbidden to dive, jump, run or use balls, games and inflatable mattresses, with the exception of safety equipment for young children. Animals, shoes, food and drink are strictly forbidden in the pool area. Only plastic water bottles are permitted. Smoking is not permitted in the SPA area.
As the SPA area is available to all customers, we would remind you that any behaviour that may offend the modesty of others will not be tolerated and may lead to expulsion from the establishment.
Swimming costumes must be worn throughout the SPA. Bermuda shorts and other clothing are not permitted. Please respect the peace and quiet of other bathers.
Article 15. LOSS AND THEFT
The Customer's personal belongings left in the Hotel room, especially outside the safe or in the public areas of the Hotel, are the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Hotel cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, deterioration or damage caused to the said effects.
A safe is available in each guest room. The hotel declines all responsibility for the loss or theft of objects that have not been placed in the safe.
If an item is left behind, it is the Client's responsibility to retrieve it.
